THE POSITIVE PLACE. SALES MOTIVATION AND PERSONAL GROWTH

Not too soon to tell

It’s only the second week in the year, so perhaps it’s too soon to tell whether the year will turn out all right, or the world will end in some sort of fiery mess, like the goofy people claim.

But assuming that December 31 will come again, and 2012 will be followed by 2013, it’s not too soon to tell if you’re going to be successful this year or not.

Have you set an objective? A goal? A pathway? A plan?

Are you working on it?

Well, if you have, then assuming you keep on going until you reach your objective, it’s not too soon to tell -- this year will work out to be a great year for you.

If you haven’t, you’ve still got time. The year is still young, after all. Even if it were December, you’d still have time to make your year great -- but that doesn’t mean you should wait around to start, mind you.

The key, as always, is to set an objective and then work until that objective is reached. When you’ve got that one, move on to the next one, and the next one, and the next one, and the next one.

When you try and do things all at once -- say climb a mountain for example -- that first step is really a doozie. But when you climb that mountain step after step, one foot right after the other, then it’s merely a matter of picking the right path and continuing on until the objective is achieved.

And it’s that way with making a great year -- define an objective, set up a path, and keep on moving until your objective is achieved. Even the occasional misstep won’t defeat you if you get back on track and get back in gear.

Have a great year -- it’s not too soon to tell if you’re going to make it great.
