THE POSITIVE PLACE. SALES MOTIVATION AND PERSONAL GROWTH
End of year balance sheet.
I’m a little late writing this edition. I apologize to those of you who actually are trying to work this week.
It’s the end of the year 2011, and it’s an important time to reflect on your own personal success and the challenges that may remain.
So although we all have personal lists, and no one-size-fits-all list can ever fit much of anybody, here’s a basic list to contemplate.
Are you better off this December 31 than you were last year:
Are you better off financially?
Have you accomplished your goals? Have you set any goals?
Are you more capable than you were last year, and at a wider variety of things?
Have you been more loving, more caring?
Have you treated your loved ones better?
Have you been more honest with others and yourself?
Have you tried to become better, wiser, and happier?
Have you been more positive?
Have you not let the winds of change destroy your life, or have you adapted and ridden those
winds, much as an eagle uses wind to rise and fall at command?
Have you saved or invested your resources: your money, your time, your abilities?
Have you enjoyed your life?
Have you told the people you care about that you love them?
You’ll have to answer this list for yourself, but I hope you can answer all of these questions in the best way possible.
